Fiming Day 5 - Corey Marshall ~ The “O.G.” Blind Man

Today was a make up shoot for the monologue I missed earlier when I was sick, and just like before, it seemed like everything was working against me getting there.

Two State Troopers later, I finally made it and I knew if I could just get on set, the recording would be worth it. For this character, I wanted to push creative limits and bring something genuine and dynamic to the table, which meant not only me committing but also the production team and Tracey being open to the vision. From the moment I arrived, the crew showed me the kindest hospitality. They were busy, but they still made sure the set and vibe were dialed in perfectly. Once I got into costume, the character came alive, and the team leaned into it with me.

After about 30 minutes of staying in character and playing off each other, the energy was primed. Then the cameras rolled. We laughed, we thought, we created, and we left feeling blessed. Huge shout-out to Chris, Christina(CC), and Tracey. Thank you for letting me be part of something so creative and inspiring.
